This Monday, February 15th, we will gather for a live Yoga Nidrā practice for self-care.
"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection".
- Buddha
Yoga Nidrā is the "state of awareful sleep". You will soften into a supported guided awareness to support your experience of the Yoga Nidrā state, followed by a period of silence as you luxuriate in deep rest.
It would be an honour to hold space for you. This class will take place at 8:30pm on Monday, February 15th. Class is approximately 30 minutes.
You can do this practice while reclining in bed, resting in a comfortable chair or on your yoga mat. If you plan to practice on your yoga mat, please gather a few blankets, a pillow, bolster (optional) and eye pillow or small towel.
"Yoga Nidrā is the yoga of aware sleep. In this lies the secret of self-healing. Yoga Nidrā is a pratyahara technique in which the distractions of the mind are contained and the mind is relaxed."
-Satyananda Saraswati
Class attendance is by donation*.
