An all-levels, accessible mindful movement experience.
You will progressively develop strength in the major joints of the body through adapted yoga postures, with added resistance from TheraBand (we can provide if you do not have your own exercise or TheraBand). Movements offered are intended to enhance balance and stability; each class will begin with a focus on the feet and ankles. You’ll experience planes of movement not typically explored in your average yoga class. Your practice is made mindful through inquiry-based cues, through which you’ll deepen your awareness of sensation within your experience of each movement and shape.
Each session will end with a 10-minute supported relaxation posture.
Please bring your yoga mat, band, 2 blankets, and a water bottle. Mask required upon entrance.
