This series is an exploration of mindful movement with the goal of increasing balance and mobility. This program is for you if you are looking to improve balance and stability in all your daily activities: navigating stairs, slippery parking lots, getting into and out of your vehicle, and maybe even getting down on the floor to play with the little people (or pets) in your life. The movements you’ll encounter in each class focus on areas like feet, ankles, legs, and hips.
When you sign up for this series, you’ll receive access to 4 pre-recorded classes, each emphasizing movements from your hips to your toes. The on-demand format allows you to practice anytime. Each class is 20-25 minutes in length and requires very few props. You’ll need a chair, a yoga mat (or carpet), a ball (tennis ball size), an exercise band (like Theraband) and optionally, a yoga block or sturdy step stool.
This is an accessible series. If you can stand, you can do these movements. There are no floor-based movements in this series.
