This material world we inhabit can feel like it's racing at a pace that overlooks restoration and ease. We have been taught that rest is lazy and softness is passivity. I know that many of you have been feeling a depletion that tells you that running on this hamster wheel is unsustainable. You soul recognizes the inner pull to shift.
This January, inside the On-Demand Membership, our embodied practices emphasize the balance between our yang (outward, active, fire, energy, rising, expansion, hot, left) and yin (rest, replenish, soft, rejuvenative, dark, contraction, cold, right) energies. These energies are opposing, but equal, even though our Western culture glorifies the yang. To truly live in harmony, we need to dance with yin and yang.
If you are wishing to "be the energy you wish to see in our world" (Tim Whild), one small step each day will support your shift in tuning into your own natural flow.
It is a radical act in this culture to choose time for replenishment when so many other, seemingly more productive things are vying for our time. Our sense of balance in life is felt inside. Don't wait for your boss or your spouse to take something off your plate. Don't wait for the world around you to slow down. Do choose short increments throughout your day where you can be fully present to your inner being: yoga, meditation, massage, float therapy, walk breaks in nature, playing with your children or dog. You can start small and feel a real shift within.
Yoga, embodied movement, and Yoga Nidrā are the practices included in this membership. What is special about this combination is that they invite us to play with the yin and yang energies, thus supporting our wellness as a whole: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
You'll have access to 15 classes this month, each one is approximately 19 minutes or less. If you have more time to practice, you can pair a couple of practices together. I will send suggestions for pairing in your access email on January 5.

These classes will be shared via Dropbox link, which you will receive on the first day of the month along with instructions for access. You are welcome to download the classes to your Dropbox or to your computer; in other words, the classes are yours to practice in December and beyond! You can sign up for Dropbox if you wish, but the link will also work if you do not have a Dropbox account.
Our sliding scale means that you can support our work while we support you. We believe that these offerings are healing and empowering and should be accessible to all. This means that finances should not be a barrier to accessing these resources.
