This month we are diving into practices that foster a steady, flowing stream of compassionate action. We have been feeling so strongly the pressure of the fire that has been rising within ourselves, our communities, and the systems we live by during these past few months. At the same time, we feel the fiery sun as we transition to the summer season in the northern hemisphere.

Fire is a powerful tool for change, and managed skillfully, our internal flame can ignite inner and outer transformation. When you come to your mat in July, you'll be invited to reflect on how your inner flame is influencing the actions you are taking: are you running hot (reactive, raging, frustrated, irritated, critical, angry), is your flame just barely flickering (sluggish, slow-starting, deflated, discouraged, "burnt out"), are you maintaining an even, steady flame (reflective, open-minded, energized, inquisitive, resilient, compassionate, curious, motivated and grateful) ?

We'll work toward taming the flame when needed, and stoking the fire appropriately to bring you back into your passion, your purpose and your power. The goal of this month's practices are to bring us into a state of being where we can take deliberate and compassionate action for the betterment of all beings, aligning our actions with keen discernment, an open heart, and a sense of connection with all beings.

July's classes include: Yin Yoga Wall Practice, Gentle Yoga for Spinal release, Balanced. Stable. Strong. x 2, Yoga Nidrā, Restorative Yoga, & Cooling Breathwork.

The beauty of these offerings is that you can practice on your own schedule. Whether your morning ritual is yoga practice, if you prefer a practice to nurture the nervous system after biking in the evening, or you find yourself unable to sleep at 2am, your class will be available through the Dropbox link! A PDF will be provided, detailing the props used for each class, for your convenience.

    These classes will be shared via Dropbox link, which you will receive on the first day of the month along with instructions for access. You are welcome to download the classes to your Dropbox or to your computer; in other words, the classes are yours to practice in July and beyond! You can sign up for Dropbox if you wish, but the link will also work if you do not have a Dropbox account.

    Our sliding scale means that you can support our work while we support you. We believe that these offerings are healing and empowering and should be accessible to all. This means that finances should not be a barrier to accessing these resources. We put our full trust in you to choose the pricing option that honours our efforts and honours your budget, no questions asked.
